 Friday 4th July Minibeasts This week, we have been learning all about minibeasts.  We went on a minibeast hunt in the woodlands and collected a selection of minibeasts to take back to our class to study.  We have learnt how to accurately draw and label a minibeast. Phonics This week, we have revisited the sounds ar , or , ur and ow .  We have practised reading and writing words containing these sounds. We have also introduced the phase 4 tricky words. The children have practised saying the following number sentences aloud... "5 is made of 2 and 3, 2 and 3 make 5 altogether" Reading logs and library books Please return any outstanding library books as soon as possible.  This will be the last week we will be collecting reading logs.  Thank you.
