  Friday 10th July We have really enjoyed learning about minibeasts. Thankyou very much for coming along to our minibeast ball. The children sang beautifully and  we were very proud of them. Their costumes were amazing!  Reading books/logs Please return all reading books to school by next Wednesday. We will not be collecting the reading logs in. Your child will be given a new reading log in year one. Library books Please return your library books to the box outside your child's classroom as soon as possible.  School disco The year R school disco will take place on Monday 13th July at 4-4.45 on the playcourt. The entrance fee is £2. This is an optional activity as it takes place after school. Celebration evening You are invited to come along to celebration evening on Thursday 16th July anytime between 4pm - 6pm. Friday 3rd July Minibeasts This week, we have been learning all about minibeasts.  We went on a minibeast hunt in the woodlands and collected a selection of minibeasts to take back to our class to study.  We have learnt how to accurately draw and label a minibeast. Phonics This week in phonics we have been revising the digraphs ar, or, oa, and oi. We have practised reading and spelling words with these sounds in. Please check your child's reading log to check which book you need to read on Bug Club. Thank you.
